For our northeastern / NYC-based family & friends, we highly recommend driving for ease and convenience. Alternatively, you may choose to fly or to hop on a C&J Bus from Port Authority Bus Terminal in NYC to the Portsmouth Transportation Center (3 miles from downtown Portsmouth). From the terminal, take a taxi/Uber, rent a car, or take a COAST bus to downtown Portsmouth.

For our family & friends traveling from other parts of the country (or the world!), we recommend flying into either Portland International Jetport (PWM) or Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). Downtown Portsmouth, NH is typically a 50-minute drive from PWM and a 1-hour drive from BOS for those renting cars.

C&J Bus is also available from Boston Logan International Airport to the Portsmouth Transportation Center (3 miles from downtown Portsmouth).

Amtrak Downeaster is available from Boston North Station or Portland, ME to Dover, NH, which is a 20-minute drive from downtown Portsmouth, NH. Upon arrival in Dover, NH, take a taxi/Uber, rent a car, or take a COAST bus to downtown Portsmouth, NH.
